ನಮಸ್ಕಾರ...

ಕವನಗಳು 

****ಆಸೆ ****

ನನಗೂ ಬರೆಯುವ ಆಸೆ ಎಲ್ಲರಲಿ ಬೆರೆಯುವ ಆಸೆ

ಆದರೆ,...ಅವಳು ಕಣ್ಣಮುಂದಿರಲು

ಬರೆದ ಕಾಗದವೆಲ್ಲ ಬುಟ್ಟಿಗೆಸೆದು

ಬೊಗಸೆ ಕಣ್ಣುಗಳ ನೋಡುವ ಮಹದಾಸೆ...

 ****ಕರ್ಮ ****  

ದಿಗಂತಕ್ಕೆತ್ತಿ ಧಪ್ಪೆಂದು ಕೆಳಕ್ಕೆಸೆದರು

ಮತ್ತೊಬ್ಬನ ಮೇಲೆತ್ತಿ ಮನಸಾರೆ ಮೆರೆದರು

ಯಾರು ಬಲ್ಲರು ಇವರ ಮನಸಿನ ಮರ್ಮ

ಎಲ್ಲವೂ ಅವರವರ ಕರ್ಮ

ಎಂದು ಮೌನವಾದವು ಪ್ರೇಕ್ಷಕ ಪಕ್ಷಿಗಳು

  ***ನಾ-ಪಾಸಾದೆ***

ಮಾದರಿ ಕಾಲೇಜಿಗೆ ಬಂದೆ,

ಕುತಂತ್ರಿ ಕುಲಪತಿ ಕಂಡೆ;

ಪ್ರಾರಬ್ಧ ಪ್ರಾಂಶುಪಾಲರ ಕಂಡೆ,

ಪ್ರಾಣಹೀನ ಪ್ರಾಚಾರ್ಯರ ಕಂಡೆ;

ಉದರ ನಿಮಿತ್ತ ಒದರುವ ಉಪನ್ಯಾಸಕರ ಕಂಡೆ,

ಪೀಠಾಲಂಕೃತ ಕುಚೋದ್ಯ ಪಠ್ಠೇತರರ ಕಂಡೆ;

ವಿದ್ಯಾ-ಹೀನ ಆರ್ಥಿಕ-ಹೀನ ಅಮಾಯಕ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳ ಕಂಡೆ,

ಅದರೊಳು ನಾಪಾಸಾದೆ!

ನಿನಗಲ್ಲ, ರಸಗುಲ್ಲ

ಕೃತಕ ಸಿಹಿಜೊಲ್ಲ

ಹೀರುವೆ ನಾ ರುಚಿಎಲ್ಲ

ಜಾರುವೆ ನಾ ಜಿನುಗಿನ ಹನಿಯಲ್ಲಿ

Every November 1st is celebrated as "Kannada Rajyotsava" day since 1956 as the birth of Karnataka State in Democratic India. It is a public holiday in the State to facilitate the celebrations by the people. The State was renamed as "Karnataka" from Mysore on 1st November 1973. The unified State has its own official flag consisting of yellow and orange coloured horizontal stripes.

 This brief explanation is written in English for non-Kannada speaking readers.

ತಮ್ಮೆಲ್ಲರಿಗೂ ಗೊತ್ತಿರೋ ಹಾಗೆ ಪ್ರತಿ ವರ್ಷ ನವೆಂಬರ್ ೧ನೇ ತಾರೀಖು ಕನ್ನಡ ರಾಜ್ಯೋತ್ಸವ ಆಚರಿಸಲಾಗುತ್ತದೆ. ಕನ್ನಡಿಗರಿಗೆ ಇದರ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಹೇಳುವ ಅವಶ್ಯಕತೆ ಇಲ್ಲ . 

ಎಲ್ಲಾದರೂ ಇರು , ಎಂತಾದರೂ ಇರು 

ಎಂದೆಂದಿಗೂ ನೀ ಕನ್ನಡವಾಗಿರು 

ಕನ್ನಡವೇ ಸತ್ಯ  ಕನ್ನಡವೇ ನಿತ್ಯ
