About me

About me....?
I am an academician, researcher, engineer and thinker with a deep concern about the society! I do love music, art, travelling and establishing network of friends.Yes...am an university professor which gave me an opportunity to understand a variety of people who makes tremendous efforts to gain knowledge, in short, I work in a pool of knowledge. My philosophy is that there is no substitute to knowledge, nor even wealth! If we keep doing good works, then it is credited for sure. Hindu Epic 'Bhagavatgeeta' says in Sanskrit Script;
Karmanye vadhikaraste
you have the power to act only
ma phaleshu kadachna
you do not have the power to influence the result
Karma phalehthur bhurma te
therefore you must act without anticipation of the result
Sangostvakarmani
without succumbing to inaction

Why I choose to blog?
Yah...I need to tell about the reason. I am quite silent but my mind is not! When I come across any situation, my mind triggers to think more on that and continues even after I pass away from that situation. Many times I feel I have to share my views with somebody... but who has the time and patience to listen me? Most people pretend to be busy but ultimately they stick to their computers/Tabs/Mobile phones for chatting or gaming or movie watching! I was feeling difficult to find like-minded or at-least those people who spare to care my views. So, I choose to start blog to express my thoughts. My views are only my personal feelings which are not intended to harm anybody's dignity or personality. If any of my views hurting somebody, I feel sorry because I do not have any personal enmity with anybody neither I have intention to attack their dignity. Hope you encourage my views and take with positive spirit!

"Rao"
Many of my friends asks the meaning of my name. "Rao" is used as suffix to the well known name "Prahlad" in a sector of Hindu Community. Interestingly, this suffix is used in other countries too. The significance of "Rao" as suffix is explained in the below Wikipedia.

The main text in the user name "Prahlada", means "filled with joy" in Sanskrit script. Its' brief history is explained in the following link.

Thus, the complete name "Prahlad Rao" is derived based on Hindu religious literature.
